"Justice is an attribute of God. As a concept, it has fidelity to the essential truth and reality of the human existence." -- Ifezue Okoli
Justice is the essence of humanity. It precedes love and compassion, both of which are also intergral parts of humanity, but deriving from fairness. One cannot exercise true love and compassion without first possessing the foundational virtue of fairness. Without fairness humanity is like a dead mollusc filled with parasitic organisms. There is life within the shell but it is not that of the mollusc.
